Technical Details
- Rated Voltage : 1.1 kV (AC) & 1.5 kV (DC) to Earth
- Construction : 3.5 and 4 cores, Aluminium conductor, XLPE insulated, galvanised steel strip/wire armoured cables as per IS 7098 Part Ð 1.
- Conductor : Aluminium up to 10 Sq.mm conductor are solid Cl.1 as per IS 8130, and above 10 Sq.mm conductor are stranded compact shape Cl. 2 as per IS 8130.
- Insulation : Crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE)
- Core Colors : Red, Yellow, Blue, Black
- Inner Sheath : PVC/PVC tape as per IS 7098 (P-1)
- Armouring : Single armouring of galvanised steel strip/wire
- Outer Sheath : PVC Type ST Ð 2 as per IS 5831 (FR Type / FRLS Type)
- Cable Color : Black (Other Colors available as per requirement)
- Standard Packing : Coils available in 100m, 200m, 500m, and 1000m lengths.
- Working Temperature : Max. +90°C, Short circuit temperature = 250°C
- Test Voltage : 3KV/5 Minutes
- Minimum Bending Radius : 12 x cable diameter
Applications
- The cables are suitable for use on AC single phase or three phase (earthed or unearthed) systems for rated voltage up to 1100 Volts. They can also be used on DC systems for rated voltage up to 1500 Volts to earth.
